b'Apprentice NewsLaren Williamson, a recent Leechburg High School graduate, is currently a first-year precision grinding apprentice at Oberg Industries. Seeking an in-demand profession that offered steady work and income out of school, she learned about the training program at Oberg Industries and decided to take one of the open Apprentice tests. Passing the exam, she started her apprenticeship position in July of 2018.Miss Teen Rodeo PA gets toWhile earning an apprentice title in Obergs program sport a variety of iconic beltis impressive enough, Laren also managed to recently buckles commemorating herclaim a title in another field she loves. She was crowned championship status.2019 Miss Teen Rodeo of Pennsylvania.The teen competition is open to young women ages 13-18 who are horse enthusiasts and possess a good work ethic, strong rodeo knowledge and excellent sportsmanship, putting the contestants horsemanship skills on full display. The Miss Rodeo PA is open to young women ages 19-24.Larens love of horses began as a young girl, growing up and learning to ride from her grandparents at the Kenmar stable near Apollo, PA. She currently boards her horse Mona, 5, in the area.The Miss Rodeo PA Pageant is supported by the Mel Blount Youth Leadership Initiative, and titleholders like Laren serve as abassadors for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) to preserve the western way of life. They promote the PRCA by attending local horseriding events and competitions as well as public appearances and seminars. They are also responsible for representing the organization positively by managing their social media presence and through charitable works.
