Linda Wood, Obergs Training Programs Manager, led the tour of the facility so the students could get a close-up look at some of the latest manufacturing equipment and automation in use today, including Obergs newest robotic 5-Axismachining centers and EDM equipment. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Grove City College prepares students to excel in careers in engineering research, design, manufacturing, production, and sales and management as well as prepare them for top graduate and professional programs. The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree program.Oberg Welcomes International Society of Automation (ISA) Visitors. ISAs Pittsburgh Section scheduled a tour of Obergs Precision Machining Center Tuesday, Oct. 16 as part of their 2018/2019 events program. The group is made up of local professionals who are interested in learning about the newest automation and robotic technologies used in manufacturing and service applications.
