Murco Introduces Flexible MGS-550 Gas Monitor

Murco Gas Detection of Ireland, a Bacharach Company, and Bacharach are proud to introduce the latest innovation in fixed-system monitors, the MGS-550 Gas Detector.

The MGS-550 can utilize any combination of sensor technologies, including electrochemical, semiconductor (MOS), catalytic bead or infrared in a single platform for unparalleled detection capability. Its single or dual sensor capability (with remote placement option) can detect refrigerants (including NH₃ and CO₂), combustibles, toxic gases and VOCs in industrial, commercial and institutional environments.

The MGS-550 features a magnetic wand for non-intrusive configuration and calibration without the need to open the enclosure. It also offers analog and Modbus interfaces, three user-assignable relays and a simple intuitive menu for easy installation and training. Able to function as a standalone unit or as part of any BMS control system, its two enclosure options (IP66 ABS or explosion-proof aluminum) provide durable performance in any location.
